Summary
The Stock Summary provides a consolidated view of inventory movement and balances within the system. The report helps businesses track stock flow, monitor material consumption, and validate stock levels across branches.


To access the Summary, go to: Home > Application > Reports > Inventory > Stock In Hand > Summary
How can I get Benefit ?
- Comprehensive Stock Tracking : Monitor stock movements including purchases, sales, issues, and transfers.
- Product-wise Analysis : View stock balances grouped under product groups.
- Branch-level Visibility : Generate stock position reports branch-wise or for the entire organization.
- Inventory Control : Helps in avoiding stock-outs or overstocking by tracking real-time balances.
- Quick Verification : Compare closing stock with physical stock for better accuracy.

Stock Summary Reports


- Select the Branch from the dropdown.
- Set the From Date and To Date to define the period for the report.
- Click on
Showbutton.


- The report provides a detailed view of stock movement and balances within the selected date range.
The details of the stock summary report includes:
- Particulars : Shows both the Group name and the specific Product name for easy identification.
- Opening : Stock available at the start of the reporting period.
- Inward Transactions : All stock coming into inventory (Purchase, Sales Return, Material Receive, Transfer In).
- Outward Transactions : All stock going out of inventory (Sale, Purchase Return, Material Issue, Transfer Out).
- Stock on Hand : Closing stock after adding inward and subtracting outward movements.
Grouping in Stock Summary
The Stock Summary supports drag-and-drop grouping to organize data effectively.
- Drag a column header (e.g., Product, Group) and drop it into the grouping panel above the table.
- The report will then display results grouped under that column.


- Multiple columns can be grouped together (e.g.,first by Group, then by Product).
- Each group can be expanded or collapsed for better readability.
